2.05 Ascot - Whiteoak was the green selection and went off at a never bigger 3-1 and despite travelling extremely well through the first 2/3rd's of the race found absolutely nothing when the slow pace quickened and ran too bad to be true. The aptly named amber selection Amber Brook never quite looked like making better than 4th.
3.10 Ascot - The ever dependable Lough Derg ran another excellent race to finish a good 3rd at 12/1 and so was a nice EW winning bet. He only has one way of going and that was a very decent weight carrying performance. His amber partner Pause and Clause unfortunately missed the EW money by one place at 14/1 staying on OK having travelled well throughout
3.30 Haydock - Green selection Cloudy Lane was never in the race at any stage and so was dissappointing whilst amber selection According to Pete ran a decent third having always been just off the leading group and giving of his best
