2.30 Haydock - Green selection Afsoun was disappointing and never got into the race whilst amber selection Cloudy Lane looked a terrific each way proposition and travelled better than anything but when push came to shove was found wanting over the last hurdle and surprisingly then even failed to make the places.
3.35 Haydock - Green selection and top weight Our Vic was freely available at 20/1 Friday evening and I was amazed that he was allowed to go off at 14/1. He led from the off and got into a great rhythm jumping out of his stride and never put a foot wrong being beaten into second by the progressive Silver By Nature. Amber selection Miko De Beauchene's jumping came undone in the back stretch once the pace quickened and he fell 6 from home
